Refund Policy

PaintBrush Free costs nothing, so you can try the database before you pay. Payments and refunds go through our payment provider, the merchant of record.
Plans

- The 10-day refund applies once per person.
- We don't refund part of a period (no pro-rata refunds).
Claude credit packs
Unused packs: refunded within 10 days of purchase. Credits already used, and the monthly allowance that comes with a plan, aren't refundable.
Themes
A theme you buy ($10 on Free, $5 on Pro) can be refunded until you first apply it. Once applied, the sale is final. Custom themes are part of Artist and have no separate charge.
What a refund does
- The licence, or the theme, is turned off.
- The app runs as PaintBrush Free. Your hands, notes, sessions and settings stay on your PC.
- A computer kept offline learns of it at its next check-in, or stops when its paid period runs out.
- Cloud backup stops. You can still restore or delete the copy for 90 days.
How to ask
Email owner@paintbrushdb.com from the address you bought with, and include your order number. We aim to answer within 2 business days. Our payment provider sends the money back to your original payment method; how long it takes depends on your bank.
If we end a paid licence without cause, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for, as the Terms of Service say.
Your legal rights
This policy doesn't limit any refund right you have under the law where you live. In the EU and UK, buyers of digital content normally have 14 days to withdraw, unless they agree at checkout that the service starts at once and that they then lose that right. Where that right applies, you have it in full, alongside our 10-day refund.
